Six fire engines and around 40 firefighters tackled a fire at an industrial unit on Bounds Green Road in Wood Green on Saturday.
Part of a single-storey lean-to attached to the affected industrial unit was damaged by fire. There were no reports of any injuries.
Seven gas cylinders were removed as a precaution, as some cylinders can explode when exposed to heat.
The Brigade’s 999 Control Officers took 12 calls to the blaze.
The Brigade was called at 1220 and the fire was under control by 1405. Fire crews from Southgate, Finchley, Hornsey, Tottenham, Holloway and Barnet fire stations attended the scene.
The fire is believed to have been accidental and caused by hot works igniting materials close by.
