On Saturday, May 4th, the ‘My Cultural Style 2024’ exhibition was officially opened at The Mall Wood Green by Cultural Style Week founder, Candy-Ellie Graham, and the Mayor of Haringey, Mayor Lester Buxton.
The vibrant ‘My Cultural Style 2024’ exhibition, supported by The Mall Wood Green, showcases Cultural Style Week participants and Haringey residents sharing their rich cultural narratives through vivid imagery captured within and around The Mall.
The opening ceremony commenced with speeches from Cultural Style Week founder Candy-Ellie Graham and Mall Wood Green manager, Samantha Davidson.
The multifaceted display includes summaries alongside imagery on the outward-facing side, inviting visitors to discover the captivating tales behind their attire, woven with passion and pride.
On the inward-facing side, even more amazing photographs from Cultural Style Week brand participants, brand ambassadors and Cultural Leads, including Shabbir Mellick from Pakistan, Robert Phillips from Scotland, and Kamila Erkaboyeva for Uzbekistan, further enrich the experience.
Mayor Buxton was guided through the exhibition by Cultural Style Week founder Candy-Ellie Graham, where he had the opportunity to meet some of the participants and learn more about their cultural expressions through fashion and personal style.
Speaking of the launch and exhibition, founder Candy Ellie Graham said:
